A Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) is a representative elected by the voters of a constituency. Party that won more assembly seats
in a given assembly elections will be able to form the governament in that state. Only a Member of the Legislative Assembly can work as a minister for
more than 6 months. Only a Member of the Legislative Assembly can become Speaker of the Legislature. Assembly elections are also held every 5 years, however
depending on various political situations in a given state (reorganisation or bifurcation of a state in to two, bye-elections or early elections etc) not all
states will have assembly elections in the same year.
